Our Programs & Classes

Students and enthusiasts of Kung Fu have many reasons for their interest in this and other martial art styles. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and self-defense.

Kung Fu
The Kung Fu program at Siu Lum Martial Arts Academy is a well-balanced system, encompassing physical fitness, forms, weapons, sparring, and self-defense training. The majority of students begin their training in the Southern Five-Animal system, adding on elements from Hung Gar and/or Northern Preying Mantis according to desire.

Tai Chi
The Tai Chi program maintains a balance between the health and wellness aspect of Tai Chi, as well as the self-defense aspect of Tai Chi. Students learn form, weapons, self-defense as well as push-hands.

Special Offsite Programs
Offsite programs in martial arts. Progams are individualized according to the needs of each program group. Locations may be private homes, institutions, corporations, camps, or other locations.
